Reiki Master Teacher, Karen Lovejoy, is a Certified Reiki Master Teacher and mobile therapist with office locations in the South Loop and Beverly neighborhood. She offers Reiki Therapy in the comfort of your home, business, school, hospital or hospice.
Karen has been studying energy medicine since 2014 (she stumbled upon it after a serious illness). Originally trained in Public Health, she received a Bachelor of Science from Northern Illinois University, and a Master of Science in Education from Erikson Institute, the premier graduate school in child development. She has a 30-year career in the Health/Education Field as a Health Educator, Parenting/Child Developmental Specialist and currently a Developmental Therapist.
Her passion as an educator stems back to her childhood where she would play, teach and babysit neighborhood children. This passion developed into a career. After college, Karen continued to work with children, as well as adults. Her focus was helping those who were less fortunate. She has worked with substance abuse pregnant mothers and their infants, infants/toddlers with developmental disabilities and disadvantaged school age children.
When Karen is not working or providing Reiki healing, she believes in family time and keeping her body at optimal health. Karen believes in all forms of alternative medicine, including acupuncture. She loves to work out regularly, enjoying Aqua aerobics, Pilates and Zumba. Karen is invigorated by Yoga, which activates her chakra systems, and recently challenged herself by incorporating Hot Yoga into her routine.
Since Reiki has healed every aspect of her life, Karen has dedicated herself to spreading the word to everyone about the marvelous effects of natural healing.

Brian Lovejoy, Reiki Master & Certified Healing Touch Practitioner
Brian Lovejoy is a Reiki Master & Certified Healing Touch Practitioner. He has been studying Energy Medicine since 2012 and has enjoyed the benefits of Floatation Therapy for over 30 years. Originally trained in Data Processing, Brian received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Roosevelt University, and an MBA with a concentration in Information Technology from Keller Graduate School of Management. He has a 30 year career in the Information Technology field in the areas of Quality Assurance, System Performance Testing, and Capacity Management. Brian is also a distributor of Young Living Essential Oils and Wellness Products, has a number of sources through which he acquires decorative / healing crystals, jewelry, and more. Brian has donated hundreds of hours time to his surrounding community by providing sessions to clients at no charge during his apprenticeship. In addition, he regularly donates free sessions to residents and staff at a local retirement community. He has one grown son, and now focuses all of his spare time on helping his clients achieve energetic balance, natural healing and wellness.
